The purchase of real estate is an excellent long-term investment and the tax savings can be substantial. To that end, we train our associates to be knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate sales from location selection for buyers to aggressive marketing of single-family homes, condos and acreage. We have associates who specialize in zoning and development for commercial buyers and sellers as well as those who work with parents of students enrolled at the University of Florida and Santa Fe Community College.
Bonnie H. Mott, Broker and President of Prudential Preferred Properties founded our company in 1993. Our office is located on N.W. 43rd Street across the street from Hunter’s Crossing Publix. Our primary market is Gainesville property and our office serves customers in the surrounding communities as requested.
Bonnie has over 25 years of experience selling real estate in the Gainesville market and in 2001, was awarded “REALTOR® of the Year” by the Gainesville/Alachua County Association of REALTORS®.
We are members of Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, the Gainesville/Alachua County REALTOR® Association, Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce, Gainesville Homebuilders, the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, Neighborhood Housing and Urban Development, Prudential Relocation and the Employee Relocation Council.
We annually sponsor the Ron Zook Scramble for Kids and the Eastside High School Girls Volleyball Tournament. Bonnie is on the Board of Directors of the Gainesville/Alachua County Association of REALTORS®, the Boys and Girls Club of Alachua County and Neighborhood Housing and Urban Development and more recently Rebuild Gainesville. She has led the growth of this company from eight real estate professionals to twenty and we are currently fourth in sales in the local market.

Education and training are the keys to the success of our real estate team. Our agents are well-educated with many college graduates as well as those holding real estate specialty designations such as Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). Additionally, we have several associates who have achieved a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from the University of Florida.
